Repotting Workshop
Our April meeting will be in-person only, no Zoom will be presented. We will start promptly at 7pm so that we can get through the meeting on time. Norm Nakanishi, Espie Quinn, and Gary Putnam will be the experts that will be manning three stations set up for members to repot Cymbidiums, Cattleyas, and all ‘Other’ types of orchids.
This session is meant for members to bring in their own orchids that need to be repotted. Cymbidiums are ideally planted after the blooms are spent and when they are pot bound and getting too large for their container. It is important when repotting Cattleyas, Laelias, and many other orchid genera that they are showing active new root growth to establish themselves quickly
in the new pot.
Everyone is welcome to attend and must follow this protocol:
Max Number of Plants You Can Bring to the Meeting to Repot: 2 (BUG FREE)
Plants of any genera. Please, only bring plants that are 2-gal size or smaller.
